Part 15: Shortcuts System
125. Shortcut Swipe
Instead of the standard long-press gesture used by traditional Android launchers, Minimaa uses a much faster Swipe gesture to reveal an app’s hidden shortcuts.
126. Viewing App Shortcuts
Simply find any application in your App Drawer and swipe right directly across its name. This instantly toggles open a custom shortcuts sheet displaying specific quick actions available for that app.
127. Pin to Top
From the shortcuts sheet, you can select “Pin to Top” to lock a specific shortcut action to the very top of your App Drawer for immediate access.
128. Pin to App
Selecting “Pin to App” will anchor the shortcut directly underneath the application’s name within the main list.
129. Folder Shortcuts
You aren’t limited to the main drawer. You can add deep-link shortcuts straight into your custom drawer folders, allowing you to build highly specialized toolkits (e.g., a “Social” folder that contains a direct shortcut to “Create New Post” rather than just the Instagram app).
130. Deep Link Actions
Shortcuts utilize Deep Links. This means tapping a shortcut (like “Open Direct Messages”) bypasses the app’s main feed and takes you straight to the action, saving you time and preventing you from getting distracted by unrelated content.
