26. Setting Up Notifications

Minimaa allows you to route your notifications directly to the Glance Page, removing the need to pull down the noisy system notification shade.

27. Selecting Apps

You can filter exactly which apps are allowed to show notifications on your Glance Page. Open the setup menu on the Glance Page and select only the apps that are critical for you (like messages or calendar alerts), filtering out the noise from games or social media.

28. Notification Permission Setup

For Minimaa to read and display your notifications, you must grant the Notification Access permission when prompted during setup. Minimaa respects your privacy; this data is processed locally and never leaves your device.

29. Managing Notifications

Once configured, your selected notifications will appear cleanly stacked. You can swipe to dismiss them individually just like you would in your normal system tray.

30. Opening and Dismissing Notifications

Tapping on a notification in the Glance Page will instantly open the corresponding app, allowing you to deal with the alert without getting sidetracked by other elements on your phone.
