Part 7: App Management

48. App Options Menu

To access advanced controls for any application, long-press its name in the App Drawer. This opens the App Options menu.

49. Renaming Apps

From the options menu, you can rename any app. This is useful if you want to disguise a distracting app or shorten a long app name to keep your drawer looking clean.

50. Rearranging Apps

If you are using custom folders or specific home screen layouts, the App Options menu allows you to manually rearrange the order of your apps.

51. Viewing Screen Time

Minimaa tracks how much time you spend in each app. By clicking the screen time option, you can see your total daily usage in minutes for that specific app.

52. App Info

Selecting “App Info” will launch your device’s native Android settings page for that application, allowing you to manage its permissions, clear cache, or force stop it.

53. Uninstalling Apps

You can completely uninstall an application directly from the Minimaa App Options menu without needing to go into your system settings.

54. Usage Access Permission

To properly display screen time and track your usage, Minimaa requires the Usage Access permission. When you first try to view screen time, you will be prompted to grant this permission in your system settings.
