19. What is the Glance Page?

The Glance Page is your central hub for daily information, accessed by swiping right on your Home Screen. It is designed to replace infinite scrolling feeds with intentional, productive tools like a journal and task manager.

20. Journal System

The Journal allows you to quickly log your thoughts, moods, and events throughout the day.

  • Creating Entries: Simply tap the Journal section and type your entry (e.g., “I am very happy today”).
  • Categories: Assign categories to your entries to keep your journal organized.
  • Priorities: Mark entries with priorities to highlight significant life events.

21. Task Management

Keep track of your to-dos directly from the launcher.

  • Creating Tasks: Add actionable items quickly (e.g., “Drink water”).
  • Scheduling: Set a specific date and time for each task so you are reminded exactly when needed.
  • Repeating Tasks: Configure tasks to repeat daily, weekly, on weekdays, or on specific custom dates.
  • Priorities: Assign priorities to ensure your most important tasks stand out.

22. Task Organization

Minimaa helps you keep your task list clean and actionable.

  • Branches: Create branches (sub-lists) to group related tasks together (e.g., “Work,” “Groceries”).
  • Completed Tasks: Completed items are automatically moved to a dedicated section so your active list remains uncluttered.
  • Recycle Bin: Deleted tasks are sent to a Recycle Bin. You can permanently delete them by long-pressing the items inside the bin.

23. Search & Filters

If your Glance Page gets full, use the built-in search bar and filtering options to quickly find specific tasks or journal entries.

24. Notifications & Reminders

You can configure Minimaa to send you system notifications for your scheduled tasks. For example, you can enable reminders to ping you 30 minutes before a task is due.

25. Exporting Tasks as Markdown

For power users, Minimaa allows you to export your entire task and journal list as a Markdown file. This makes it incredibly easy to sync or import your data into other productivity apps.
