74. Language Settings
Minimaa allows you to override your system’s default language for the launcher interface. This is useful if you are learning a new language or prefer your launcher environment in a specific dialect.
75. Supported Languages
The app currently supports a variety of languages including English, Español (Spanish), Français (French), Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, and Portuguese. Note: Localization is continuously being improved.
76. Theme Settings
You can switch between a pure Light Theme, a deep Dark Theme, or allow Minimaa to sync with your system’s default theme settings. Dark mode is highly recommended for OLED screens to save battery and reduce eye strain.
77. Wallpaper System
Because Minimaa uses a text-heavy, minimalist interface, managing your wallpaper is crucial to maintaining readability and aesthetic appeal.
78. Transparent Home Screen
By enabling this setting, your home screen background becomes transparent, allowing your system wallpaper to show through beneath the Minimaa interface text.
79. Transparent App Drawer
Similarly, you can make the App Drawer background transparent, creating a seamless visual flow from your home screen into your app list.
80. Wallpaper Dimming
If your system wallpaper is too bright or busy, making the text hard to read, you can use the Wallpaper Dimming slider. Setting it to 0 means full transparency, while 80 creates a heavy, dim overlay to improve text contrast.
81. Immersive Color Wallpaper
If you prefer an ultra-clean look without any background image, you can enable Immersive Color Wallpaper. This replaces your background with a solid color (like pure white or pure black).
82. Fixing Wallpaper Visibility in Recents
A common issue in custom launchers is that the system wallpaper briefly “pops up” when opening the Recent Apps screen. By enabling the Immersive Color Wallpaper (e.g., setting it to solid black or white), you eliminate this visual glitch, ensuring a perfectly smooth transition into the recents menu.
