MINIMAA 1.2.0 is officially live!

We are rolling out one of our most requested foundational updates to the MINIMAA Launcher. Version 1.2.0 (v22) brings massive leaps in privacy, visual customization, and productivity—while maintaining the absolute minimalist ethos you expect.

Here is an overview of everything new in this release.

🔒 Private Space & Security

We’ve introduced Private Space, allowing you to securely lock and hide applications away from the main drawer.

• Biometric Integration: Seamlessly unlock your secured apps using fingerprint or PIN.
• Inactive App Hiding Improvements: Enhanced logic for keeping your workspace distraction-free.

🎨 Aesthetic & Layout Configurations

Tailoring your digital environment is now easier and drastically vastly more capable.

• Theme Switching Engine: Choose between OLED Black, refined Dark Mode, and a brand new Light Mode.
• Native Wallpaper System: We’ve rewritten the wallpaper engine to interface natively with Android. It is heavily optimized, far more stable, and allows deeper customization.
• Folder Support: You can now logically bundle apps into folders entirely inside the drawer and home screens.

⚡ Productivity Upgrades

MINIMAA’s built-in toolset gets a serious efficiency overhaul.

• Notes & Tasks Enhancements: We’ve implemented auto-save so you never lose your thoughts, introduced a recycle bin for recovery, and added support for repeating/recurring tasks.
• App Usage Stats Added: You can now visually track your digital footprint straight from the launcher.
• Upgraded Alphabet Scroller: We’ve completely rebuilt the app drawer scrollbar with much tighter, smoother controls.

🎵 Stability Fixes

• Significantly improved the reliability and latency of the Music Widget.
• General bug fixes mitigating edge-case crashes from previous builds.
